GMIC Chapters Connect our Members and Offer Resources

The Green Meeting Industry Council recently introduced a program whereby members may form local chapters. Chapters allow for greater interaction amongst members as well as give GMIC leaders the ability to tailor programs to meet needs in their community. Chapters are encouraged to meet regularly and offer affordable educational opportunities to their constituents.

The GMIC is searching for members interested in establishing and leading chapters in their area. Some basic requirements for chapter affiliation are:

• Defined Area of Service Containing Thirty (30) Current GMIC Members
• Established Board of Directors
• Legal Identity*
• Fiscal System (bank account and financial management)

*According to the country of origin, this may include incorporation with your Secretary of State, registration with the Internal Revenue Service, or other appropriate government filings and reports
