Supporting Business Membership:

The GMIC offers special benefits packages for your organization. A Supporting Business Membership not only provides you with the resources available to our planners, but supports a strong connection to our planner members. Choose a Supporting Membership to have your business, rather than your manager, be recognized as a GMIC member. Some Supporting Business Membership come with Individual Memberships; the number of individual memberships depends on the package you choose.  

Basic Supporting Organization Membership Benefits:

All Supporting Organization memberships are reviewed and renewable on an annual basis and provide your organization with:

• Your logo on the Green Meeting Industry Council website Please review our current Supporting Organizations. You'll probably see other businesses that you admire on this list. These logos provide quicklinks to suppliers as well as reliable hosts for not only our members, but any interested planner using the GMIC website.
• Use of the GMIC logo in Your Publications GMIC will send a special logo Supporting Organization logo, declaring your membership and level, with your welcome letter after you join. You may use this on your website, business cards, or letterhead to let consumers know that your company has already taken the first step toward professional education on sustainability by joining the Council, and that your business is continuing to strive toward sustainablility
• Access to the member directory and a listing in it GMIC Individual Members have come to rely on our online membership directory. The directory is provided both as a spreadsheet and a PDF, and GMIC updates the directory every one to two weeks. It is important to keep this information current, because this is how GMIC members will contact you about products and services. You'll be prompted to review your listing on a yearly basis, but may update as often as you like.
• At least one Individual Membership for employees (Additional based on the level) In addition to all of our special Supporting Organization benefits, and regardless of which level you choose, each Supporting Organization receives AT LEAST ONE Individual Membership. Supporting Organizations receive all the benefits of an Individual Member in addition to these great business benefits. The employee you choose to be your Individual Member with serve as your GMIC liaison. They'll receive e-mail notifications of GMIC events and press releases, and they'll also be the person our members will contact through the directory. Your Individual Member(s) will have access to all GMIC's product, service, and planner resources, as well as the GM Journal archives and a current subscription.

Additional benefits are determined by your level of support. The Green Meeting Industry Council offers a wide scale of Supporting Organization levels with corresponding benefits, allowing you to choose the level that best meets your company's needs.
